Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Warm the milk and mix with yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread with butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter roll, increase the sugar.
- Use cream cheese frosting for a richer flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
