Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread, cubed
  • 1 pound of breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the cubed bread in the bottom of the dish.
  4. Top the bread with cooked sausage and cheese.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sausage.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, until set and golden.

Notes

  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
