A festive and colorful jello salad perfect for Christmas gatherings. This dish combines sweet and tangy flavors with a creamy texture.

- 1 package (3 oz) red jello
- 1 package (3 oz) green jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Dissolve red jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Pour into a dish and refrigerate until set (about 2 hours).
- Repeat with green jello using the remaining boiling and cold water. Pour over the set red layer and refrigerate until firm (about 2 hours).
- Spread whipped cream evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle marshmallows, pineapple, and nuts (if using) over the whipped cream.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Use a clear dish to show off the layers.
- For a quicker set, use ice cubes to replace part of the cold water.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less marshmallows.
