- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 2 cups bread stuffing
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Remove the giblets from the turkey and pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine the bread stuffing with melted butter, vegetable broth, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Stuff the turkey with the bread mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
- Roast for 2.5 to 3 hours, removing the foil in the last hour to brown the skin.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- You can use store-bought stuffing for convenience.
- Save the turkey drippings for gravy.
- Pair with cranberry sauce for a classic taste.
