Description

Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey (1214 pounds)
  • 2 cups bread stuffing
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Remove the giblets from the turkey and pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, combine the bread stuffing with melted butter, vegetable broth, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the bread mixture.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  6. Roast for 2.5 to 3 hours, removing the foil in the last hour to brown the skin.
  7. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
