Festively decorated cookies for Christmas.
Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- Food coloring
- Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract; mix well.
- Gradually add flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
- Roll dough into balls and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cool before decorating.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing.
- Add food coloring and decorate cookies.
- Sprinkle with decorations.
