- 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add carrots and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Stir in brown sugar, salt, pepper, and water.
- Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes until carrots are tender.
- Uncover and cook for 2 more minutes to thicken the glaze.
- Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use baby carrots for quicker prep.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
