Ingredients

- 6 medium apples
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Assorted toppings (sprinkles, crushed nuts, chocolate chips)
Instructions
- Wash and dry apples. Insert sticks into the tops.
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until amber-colored.
- Slowly stir in heavy cream, butter, vanilla, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Dip each apple into caramel, letting excess drip off.
- Roll in toppings while caramel is still warm.
- Place on parchment paper to cool completely.
