- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Core the apples, leaving the bottom intact.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, walnuts, and raisins.
- Stuff the apples with the mixture.
- Top each apple with a small piece of butter.
- Place apples in a baking dish and pour water into the bottom.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until apples are tender.
- Serve warm.
