- 1 chocolate cake, baked and cooled
- 2 cups chocolate mousse
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1 cup chocolate shavings
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
Instructions
- Cut the chocolate cake into cubes.
- In a trifle dish, layer half of the chocolate cake cubes.
- Add half of the chocolate mousse on top of the cake layer.
- Layer half of the whipped cream over the mousse.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and sprinkle chocolate shavings.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

- Use any leftover cake for snacking.
- You can substitute store-bought mousse for convenience.
