Description

Fresh strawberries dipped in melted chocolate and topped with crushed pistachios for a sweet and crunchy treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large strawberries, washed and dried
  • 200g dark or milk chocolate, chopped
  • 30g pistachios, shelled and finely crushed

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in short bursts in the microwave.
  3. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds of the berry.
  4. Gently shake off excess chocolate and roll the dipped part in crushed pistachios.
  5. Place the strawberry on the parchment paper to set.
  6. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
  7. Let the chocolate harden at room temperature or chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature strawberries to prevent chocolate from cracking.
  • If chocolate thickens, reheat briefly.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
