- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this dry mixture into the creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
