- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mash banana and mix with milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook the other side.
- Serve warm with syrup or extra bananas.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for best flavor.
- Adjust milk slightly if batter is too thick.
- Keep pancakes warm in oven at 200°F while cooking batches.
