- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz butterfly pasta (farfalle)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the butterfly pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing well until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Stir to combine.
- Add the cooked butterfly pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
