- 6 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve crispy skin.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken thighs and toss to coat evenly.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a cast-iron skillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
