- 1 box (6.8 oz) Rice-a-Roni (chicken flavor)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook Rice-a-Roni according to package instructions.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked Rice-a-Roni, chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, peas, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
- Substitute cream of mushroom soup if preferred.
