Description

A comforting chicken pot pie soup made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken, carrots, celery, and onion in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken and return it to the pot.
  5. Add frozen peas and heavy cream, stir well.
  6. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on low.
