- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 1 minute to create a roux.
- Slowly pour in the heavy cream while whisking to avoid lumps.
- Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the Swiss cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Dijon mustard until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm over chicken cordon bleu.
