Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add heavy cream and Dijon mustard, stirring until smooth.
  5. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then return chicken to the pan to coat with sauce.
  6. Peel and boil potatoes until tender.
  7. Drain potatoes, add butter and milk, then mash until smooth.
  8. Serve chicken with mustard sauce alongside mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • Use skinless chicken breasts for best results.
  • For creamier mashed potatoes, add more milk.
