- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to the skillet.
- Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
- Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli or spinach for added nutrition.
