Description
A delicious dish of cheesy potatoes made with real potatoes.
Ingredients

- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- Drain potatoes and return to pot.
- Add sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
- Stir in half of the cheddar cheese.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheddar cheese and green onions.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked bacon bits.
- Use different types of cheese for variety.
