- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the diced potatoes in a large pot until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the melted butter, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
- Mix well until combined.
- Transfer the potato mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

- Feel free to add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
- You can substitute different types of cheese if desired.
