- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the French bread into 1-inch slices, but don’t cut all the way through—leave the bottom intact.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture between the bread slices.
- Stuff the slices with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Unwrap the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
- You can add other herbs like basil or thyme.
- For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes after baking.
