Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the French bread into 1-inch slices, but don’t cut all the way through—leave the bottom intact.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture between the bread slices.
  5. Stuff the slices with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Unwrap the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve warm.
