- 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle the butter and herb mixture over the potatoes.
- Pour the heavy cream evenly over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- You can add cooked bacon or sautéed onions for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
