- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp softened butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix cheese, butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast.
- Stuff each pocket with the cheese mixture.
- Secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet.
- Sear chicken for 3 minutes per side.
- Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use kitchen twine if toothpicks aren’t secure enough.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Substitute mozzarella with cheddar or gouda if preferred.
