Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Emmental cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, halved
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon kirsch (cherry brandy)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic.
  2. In a pot, combine wine and lemon juice; heat until simmering.
  3. Gradually add cheeses, stirring until melted.
  4. Mix cornstarch with kirsch and add to the pot.
  5. Stir until smooth and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve with dippers.
