Ingredients

- 200g Gruyere cheese
- 200g Emmental cheese
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 300ml dry white wine
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp kirsch (cherry brandy)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bread cubes for dipping
Instructions
- Rub the inside of the fondue pot with garlic.
- Combine wine and lemon juice in the pot and heat gently.
- Add cheese gradually, stirring constantly until melted.
- Mix cornstarch with kirsch and add to the pot.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve with bread cubes for dipping.
