Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and cooled chai tea. Mix until well combined.
