- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the batter, mixing until combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour half the batter into the pan, then drizzle caramel sauce. Repeat with remaining batter and caramel.
- Swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use room temperature ingredients for best results.
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the cake tender.
- Let the cake cool completely before slicing.
