  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold until just combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan. Drizzle caramel sauce evenly, then sprinkle pecans.
  6. Pour the remaining batter over the top and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.
