Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup finely chopped apples
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Stir until combined.
  4. Fold in chopped apples.
  5. Spoon batter into cupcake liners, filling each 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool cupcakes completely before drizzling with caramel sauce.
