Description

A rich and creamy Cajun-spiced pasta dish with ground beef and bowtie pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Add Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir well.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Mix in Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
