Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 egg
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- 1 slice of ham (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice butter-side down in the skillet.
- Add cheese and ham (if using).
- Crack the egg onto the sandwich.
- Top with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown, then flip.
- Cook until the other side is golden and the cheese melts.
Notes
- Use a lid to help melt the cheese faster.
- Adjust heat to prevent burning.
