A simple breakfast casserole that you can prepare ahead of time.
Ingredients

- 8 slices of bread
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 pound of cooked sausage
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the bread into cubes and place in the dish.
- Add the cooked sausage and cheese over the bread.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, sausage, and cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until set.
Notes
- Sausages can be substituted with turkey meat. .
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be frozen for later use.
