- 6 cups cubed bread
- 2 cups diced ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 6 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the bread, ham, and cheese in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and ham.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until set.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use leftover ham.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or onions.
- This casserole can be made a day ahead and refrigerated.
