A delicious and crispy blooming onion made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 large onion
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel the onion and cut off the top, leaving the root end intact.
- Slice the onion into petals without cutting all the way through.
- In one bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
- In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs.
- Coat the onion in the flour mixture, dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the onion in the air fryer basket and spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
