- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Add ground turkey. Cook until browned.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add diced tomatoes and beans. Stir to combine.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
