- 2 cups Gruyère cheese, shredded
- 2 cups Emmental cheese, shredded
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 baguette, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic.
- In a pot, heat the wine over medium heat until simmering.
- Gradually add the cheeses, stirring constantly until melted.
- Mix the cornstarch with lemon juice and add to the cheese mixture.
- Stir in nutmeg and black pepper.
- Serve with baguette cubes for dipping.
