- 200g Emmental cheese
- 1 clove garlic
- 300ml dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Kirsch (cherry brandy)
- Fresh bread cubes for dipping
Instructions
- Rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic.
- In a separate pot, heat the wine and lemon juice until hot but not boiling.
- Gradually add the grated cheeses, stirring until melted.
- Dissolve cornstarch in a little Kirsch and add to the cheese mixture.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Serve with fresh bread cubes for dipping.
