Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a small cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool before decorating.
