- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the spices to fully incorporate.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a generous scoop of the beef mixture onto each tortilla.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired, and serve immediately.
