  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

A rich and creamy beef stroganoff served over tender egg noodles, perfect for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute.
  6. Slowly add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream. Return the beef to the skillet and cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
