Description

A quick and easy beef stir fry with fresh vegetables and a savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over high heat.
  2. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Add bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  5. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
  6. Return beef to the pan and pour sauce over. Stir well.
  7. Cook for 2 more minutes until sauce thickens.
  8. Serve hot over rice.
