- 3 to 4 lbs beef sirloin tip roast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Pat the beef sirloin tip roast dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil all over the roast.
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, rosemary, and thyme. Rub this mixture evenly over the roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around it.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
- Remove the roast from the oven and cover it loosely with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Slice against the grain and serve with the pan juices.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, marinate the roast overnight with the seasoning mixture.
