Description

This tender and flavorful beef sirloin tip roast is perfect for a hearty family dinner or a special occasion. Seasoned with herbs and slow-roasted to perfection, it will be a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 to 4 lbs beef sirloin tip roast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Pat the beef sirloin tip roast dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil all over the roast.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, rosemary, and thyme. Rub this mixture evenly over the roast.
  4. Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around it.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
  6. Remove the roast from the oven and cover it loosely with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice against the grain and serve with the pan juices.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, marinate the roast overnight with the seasoning mixture.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the roast is cooked to your desired doneness.
