Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion, carrots, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  5. Add the frozen peas and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish.
  8. Spread the mashed potatoes on top of the beef mixture.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until the potatoes are golden.
