Description

Delicious beef fajitas marinated and grilled to perfection, served with peppers and onions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Tortillas, for serving
  • Sour cream, for serving
  • Salsa, for serving
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add flank steak to the marinade, ensuring it’s well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat grill over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove steak from marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  5. While the steak is resting, grill the sliced bell pepper and onion until tender and slightly charred.
  6. Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.
  7. Serve the beef and grilled vegetables in tortillas, topped with sour cream, salsa, and cilantro.
