  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the beef chuck steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Brown the steak on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the steak and set aside.
  6. Add garlic and onion to the skillet, sauté until softened.
  7. Stir in beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
  8. Return the steak to the skillet, cover, and transfer to the oven.
  9. Bake for 2-2.5 hours or until tender.
  10. Remove from the oven and let rest before slicing.
