A simple and delicious beef chuck steak recipe that is easy to prepare.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef chuck steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the beef chuck steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown the steak on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the steak and set aside.
- Add garlic and onion to the skillet, sauté until softened.
- Stir in beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
- Return the steak to the skillet, cover, and transfer to the oven.
- Bake for 2-2.5 hours or until tender.
- Remove from the oven and let rest before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or vegetables.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This recipe can be adapted for a slow cooker.
