  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine beef slices, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove broccoli from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and ginger to the beef and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the broccoli to the pan and stir in the beef broth. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the beef and broccoli stir-fry over cooked rice.
