  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  6. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred with two forks.
  7. Return the shredded chicken to the sauce in the crockpot and stir to coat.
  8. Serve on buns, over rice, or with your favorite sides.
