Ingredients

- 1 cup low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup cooked lean protein (chicken, turkey, or tofu)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop the vegetables into small pieces.
- In a pot, combine the broth and chopped vegetables.
- Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the cooked protein, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Blend if desired for a smoother texture.

- Use fresh vegetables for better flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- This soup can be frozen for later use.
