Delicious banana bread cookies that are soft and chewy.

- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas.
- Add brown sugar and softened butter, and mix well.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix in baking soda and salt.
- Add flour and chocolate chips, and stir until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Use ripe bananas for better flavor.
- Can substitute chocolate chips with nuts if desired.
